Welcome to MuteSwitch. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the MuteSwitch email reply-all management service ("Service"). By using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using MuteSwitch, you agree to:

• Be at least 13 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction)
• Provide accurate and complete information when creating an account

If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use our Service.

2. Description of Service

MuteSwitch provides an email management service that helps users:

• Manage reply-all situations in email conversations
• Control typing indicators and real-time collaboration features
• Integrate with email platforms including Gmail and Microsoft Outlook
• Monitor and manage email communication patterns

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time, with or without notice.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To use MuteSwitch, you must create an account by:

• Signing in with your Google Account, or
• Signing in with your Microsoft Account

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach

3.3 Account Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in prohibited activities.

4. User Conduct and Prohibited Activities

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Violate any laws, regulations, or third-party rights
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Collect or store personal information about other users

5. Email Access and Permissions

5.1 OAuth Authorization

MuteSwitch requires OAuth authorization to access your email account. By granting access, you authorize us to:

• Read your email messages and metadata
• Send emails on your behalf (when you initiate the action)
• Access your email settings and configuration
• Monitor typing indicators and collaboration features

5.2 Scope of Access

We only access your email data to provide the Service's functionality. We do not:

• Read your emails for purposes unrelated to the Service
• Share your email content with third parties
• Use your email data for advertising or marketing purposes
• Store your email content longer than necessary

5.3 Revoking Access

You may revoke MuteSwitch's access to your email account at any time through your Google or Microsoft account settings.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

MuteSwitch integrates with third-party services including:

• Google Gmail and Google OAuth
• Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Azure
• Other email service providers

Your use of these third-party services is governed by their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices or content of third-party services.

11. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective when:

• Posted on this page
• The "Last Updated" date is revised
• You receive notification (for material changes)

Your continued use of the Service after changes constitute acceptance of the modified Terms.

12. Termination

12.1 Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time by:

• Following the account deletion process in your settings

12.2 Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately, without notice, if:

• You engage in fraudulent or illegal activities

Upon termination:

14.5 No Agency

No agency, partnership, joint venture, or employment relationship is created between you and MuteSwitch by these Terms.

15. Acknowledgment

By using MuteSwitch, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our Service.
